It corresponds to yang in the yin/yang dualism, the Rajas guna in the vedic system, the element sulfur in Alchemy as well as the projective mode of activity of Chokma (wisdom) on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The active principle is hot, dry, expanding, ascending and bestowing. It is the root of the radiance and luminosity of the divine Solar force. Its charge is positive, its gender is masculine, paternal and contains the seed of the archetypal design templates from which things are generated.
